We started this because the next decade of software is going to be skills, agents, and tools — and we did not want any of it to live behind a 30% fee or a six-week review queue.
Most of what people will buy from each other in the next ten years isn't a song or a sticker pack. It's a thing a model can do — fetch this, summarize that, draft this email, watch this metric. The unit of commerce is shrinking from "an app" to "a tool call."
That doesn't fit on the App Store. It needs sub-cent pricing, instant settle, no signup, no chargebacks, and no human review of every release. We think it needs a new substrate. We're building it.
Seed round closed Q3 2025. ~28 months of runway at current burn. Investors include a small group of crypto-native funds and several individual builders we admire. We took less than was offered, on purpose.
Distributed. Eight people across five timezones. We meet in person twice a year for a week. The rest is async, written, and (mostly) calm.
